REGE-FARMS (Erasmus+)

REGE-FARMS: Regenerative practices for sustainable farming, biodiversity and carbon sequestration in

REGE-FARMS is an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership that helps farmers and vocational training actors adopt regenerative farming practices through practical learning resources, digital tools, and on-farm demonstrations—supporting healthier soils, stronger biodiversity, and resilient farm businesses.

Quick Facts

Programme: Erasmus+ (KA220-VET – Cooperation Partnerships in VET)
Duration: 1 Nov 2025 – 31 Oct 2027
Budget: €250,000 (lump sum)
Geography: Multi-country EU partnership

What the project will deliver

Regenerative Agriculture Training Toolkit
Practical guidance, field-day methodology, and concise learning materials (“practice pills”) for farmers and trainers.

Digital learning resources (OER)
A structured set of open educational materials suitable for VET, advisory services, and farmer self-learning.

Case studies and on-farm demonstrations
Real examples that translate knowledge into action, with clear steps and expected outcomes.

Field Days and outreach activities
Events and stakeholder engagement to accelerate adoption and long-term impact.

Why REGE-FARMS matters

Farmers increasingly want proven, practical pathways to regenerative farming - yet training is often fragmented, overly technical, or not adapted to real farm constraints. REGE-FARMS addresses this gap by converting evidence-based practice into clear, actionable learning tools and demonstrations that can be used across different farm contexts.

Partners

 REGE-FARMS is delivered by a 5-partner consortium:

  • Živá Záhrada s.r.o. (Slovakia) — Coordinator
  • Carboneg Institute z. ú. (Czechia)
  • Biopikilo Single Member Private Company (Greece)
  • MERIDAUNIA SOC. CONS. A.R.L. (Italy)
  • Talajmegújító Gazdák Egyesülete (Hungary)

Project website (launching soon)

A dedicated REGE-FARMS project website is launching soon.
It will be the project’s “home base” for everything practical and usable—bringing together the training toolkit, open learning resources, case studies, field-day materials, and the latest updates in one easy-to-navigate place.

What you’ll find there:

  • Action-first learning resources: short, farmer-friendly modules you can apply immediately
  • Real farm case studies: what was done, how it was done, and what changed on the ground
  • Field day hub: upcoming events, agendas, and downloadable materials Toolkit library: guides, templates, checklists, and infographics
  • Updates & releases: new resources published as the project progresses
